Please review the possible causes for the microphone readings being higher than the actual values.

• The microphone values we report represent the maximum reading from each sensor measurement period, as opposed to an average reading. We report the data this way because sudden, loud noises are the most likely to wake a user, so these peaks are considered the most relevant for tracking sleep disturbances.

Possible causes:

• Phone nearby going off next to the case microphone (vibrate, call, or text)

• Interacting with the case to put the buds in, remove them, or otherwise change the case position

• Case near an electronic device (fan, air conditioner, CPAP machine, etc)
